“And they overcame him, Satan, by the blood of the lamb, by the word of their testimony.”

Revelation 12:11

Many Christians are not using the powerful tool of their tongue, thus missing out on the display of God’s power.

Your tongue is a powerful key to the breakthroughs that come through God.

It is extremely important that you voice your expression.

But so you can defeat the powers of darkness that would press you into a religious box.

We don’t want to just be people of prayer, we want to be people of fervency, faith, and power!

PROBLEM:

Satan opposes this activity more than any of us realize. He has successfully bound and stifled much of the Church because of his influence toward silence and piety.

The Satanic tactic is to keep the church quiet.

The Church started with much freedom and enthusiasm but has turned to a liturgical model.

Over structured order has killed the spirit of freedom in the church.  Free, exuberant, soulful, heartfelt, out loud, and prophetic expression is what the Holy Spirit desires for His people as they gather.  We are called to move from a synagogue model into an expressive edifying model that flows out of faith, hope and love.

Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.”

Hebrews 13: 15

Are we pandering to demonic influences to silence us and don’t even know it?

Satan hates:

Are we letting the enemy silence us?

Look at the words that were penned during the period of David’s tabernacle and look at the exhortation to use the voice, to make noise.

“(A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah.) Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, His holy mountain. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion in the far north, The city of the great King.”

Psalms 48:1-2

“Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”

Psalms 32: 11

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.”

Psalms 33:1-3

“But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”

Psalms 5:11-12

“(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries, and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamps against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arises against me, In spite of this I shall be confident. One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me; And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

Psalm 27:1-6
