We’ve made several mistakes that the enemy has taken full advantage of.
We said this world is not our home.
We’ve said we can’t wait to get to heaven, when Jesus said, “bring heaven to earth.”
We said it’s got to get worse before the Lord comes back.
We said don’t polish the brass on a sinking ship.
We stopped serving our school boards, our city councils, our state and federal government.
We stopped taking time for outreach to the poor and outreach to the broken.
We stopped our Sunday School bussing programs and our VBS ministry.
We stopped caring for the orphan and the prisoner.
We stopped repenting of our sins and renouncing the demonic connections.
We’ve been enjoying our prosperity as if there was no enemy at all.
Meanwhile the enemy has been vigilant. Working overtime to fill our vacancy. Fill the boards. Educate, divide, embitter, alienate, pervert and own the very things that God called us to steward, refine and perfect.
It’s time to become sober. It’s time to reengage. Our warfare will not be a sprint, but a marathon. We must determine, as the early Church, the superiority of Jesus through us will overthrow the darkness.
So many mistakes made out of ignorance of the word of God .
