“Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”
Genesis 3:1
In prayer I saw a serpent, a snake wrapped around media. The vision was to show me that media was in the clutches of Satan, but I felt immediately that this too spoke of the seduction of Satan attached to the media mountain.
Satan seduces through a false word, an alternative idea, through reasoning that appeals to the base nature of each person. I felt first, we need to be careful what we feed our minds with lest we are seduced into believing his news and submitting to his narrative. Second, I saw this seduction of twisted truth and deception must be confronted more in prayer.
We will command every lie exposed. We will decree a collapse to the kingdom of deceit. To seduce means to make an idea seem attractive, but we will declare these ideas bring only bitterness and gravel to the soul. Disillusionment comes to those who listen to his voice and they want out. “Holy Spirit guide us now in reclaiming the media mountain. Give us wisdom in prayer to see it restored unto Jesus.”
I appreciate these morning devotions & lessons – Thank you!
